What does Steve Drew offer?
Steve Drew is a highly respected surgeon who specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of upper limb complaints. He is the lead clinician for shoulder and elbow research at Warwick University and has private and NHS clinics throughout the Warwickshire area.

What is his background?

Steve was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2000. He trained predominantly in London and was awarded his Master of Surgery for research in nerve repair and regeneration. Since taking up his consultant post, he has developed a particular interest in arthroscopic (keyhole) reconstructive shoulder surgery and he regularly teaches on national and international courses. He has treated a wide variety of athletes of all abilities and is one of the upper limb surgeons to the British Gymnastics Team.

Why should you choose Steve?

Steve is widely regarded as a leading authority on shoulder and elbow surgery, with many patients regularly choosing him for second opinions. Although a highly skilled surgeon, first and foremost, Steve views himself as a trusted advisor. Following thorough examination, Steve will clearly explain to you what is wrong, what treatments are available and will support you in making the right decision moving forward. Although Steve performs hundreds of operations each year, it is a testament to his expertise that the majority of his patients never end up in surgery.

What do his patients say?

“I have been absolutely delighted with the results of my shoulder surgery. The movement has been restored and I am completely pain free. I would highly recommend visiting Steve for any shoulder problems – he is a true expert in his field and obviously cares about his patients. Steve, thank you so much for everything.” – Barbara Bosworth
